Bookie — Connecting Clients to Service Providers via WhatsApp
A WhatsApp-integrated service marketplace that lets clients discover providers, send structured bookings, and pay securely — all from their phone.
The Challenge
Service providers in Ghana lacked a simple, mobile-first way to be discovered and booked by clients. Existing solutions were either too complex, USSD-based, or required expensive custom development.
Our Solution
We built Bookie — a WhatsApp-based booking marketplace using Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Redis. Providers create a public profile page with their services and availability. Clients browse, book, and pay via Paystack — all with WhatsApp notifications at every step.
